Optimist Club of Brampton

WELCOME

The first Optimist Club was started in 1919 and Optimists around the world have been ‘Bringing Out the Best in Kids’ ever since. Clubs organize and support service projects that provide a helping hand to youth in their communities. Leading kids with a positive attitude to help them grow.

As part of an international organization, Optimist International, the Optimist Club of Brampton was started on June 15th, 1983. Our members join together to help out kids in the Brampton area wherever needed. In the past few years we have donated between $40,000 and $50,000 a year to different projects within the City of Brampton. Interested in who we support? Check out ‘Who we support’ at the left. While ‘Bingo’ is our biggest fundraiser it is not all ‘work’. We have a good time and meet for occasional dinners and brunches. We also like to find time for social activities (all work and no play makes life pretty boring!) If you’re thinking of joining a service organization and would like to come to one of our meetings and find out what we’re all about we’d love to see you!
