What we do for the youth of Brampton today, will have an impact on the long-term health of our community. Children are a community’s most precious resource. By developing that resource we are providing a positive vision for young people and hope for the future of our community.

This year promises to be an exciting year for our club. The Board of Directors is a group of dedicated and talented volunteers, and through their hard work, and your support, we will touch the lives of the children in our community.

It is said that “the real reward for service is service itself.” But we know that the reward we value for the service projects in which we participate, is the impact we have on the lives of the young people and the community. Optimists are motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of youth and to the continuing betterment of the community.

Our service projects which include: our Annual Junior Golf Tournament, Music Therapy Program, Annual Essay Contest, and our Annual Pumpkin Carving Evening, reflect the interests of our club members and the needs of our local area. Our projects offer us the chance to work together, having fun, for a good cause.

We want to build public awareness of the programs and activities that the Brampton Optimist Club conducts. They are what make us such a vital asset to the community. In every project we carry out, we proudly refer back to our club as the starting point of the endeavor. This is to gain further public support and awareness. We have excellent member involvement, effort, morale, and enthusiasm. We have creative ideas and the talent to see them to fruition. This combination helps to guarantee our success.

The Brampton Optimists are always ready to include new members in our Club. People who share our mission: Bringing out the best in kids, are welcome to come see what we do and some of how we do it at a regular club meeting. We know that we, and hope that others, will use the opportunities available, to meaningfully and positively affect the lives of others.
